Project Configuration ToolsBETA -
- Announcing project configuration tools (beta feature) to support project level modifications that spans multiple objects. These tools aim to provide a streamlined experience for administrative users when external systems or business requirements change.
- Credentials Tool allows changing credentials for all data sources, data targets and data services within a project in one screen and significantly reduce the work required to mass change credentials when new credentials are created or when changing team members
- Attribute Mapping Tool allows swapping attributes from the data source through to all related objects (jobs, apps, and analytic reports). This is especially helpful when new attributes are introduced to existing data sources or when the data sources are changed such as moving from sandbox to production sources.
- Documentation Tool allows modifying name, description, tags and admins of all objects within a project within one screen. Furthermore, it allows exporting the documentation at the project level in PDF format.
-
Known issue(s):
- Documentation Tool's PDF export functionality may result in blank sections in the output if the project has more than 20 objects.
