Navigate to Data > Data Services
Click Add Data Service.
Give your Data Service a name, optional description, assign data service administrators, and labels. Select D&B Data Blocks in the Select Technology section.
You will need to authenticate this data service using your Data Blocks credentials.
- Add Account Information - click this button to authenticate your D&B Data Blocks account.
- Add Account - select this option if you are authenticating this data service in Openprise for the first time.
- Alternatively, you can click on an existing account if it has already been authenticated.
If you selected "Add Account", you will need to provide the consumer key and consumer secret to authenticate the account. Please reach out to your D&B representative for these credentials.
Select the Company entity from the dropdown.
This data service can only be used for enrichment, as indicated by default.
Next, select a Data Blocks level from the dropdown. More than one level may be selected.
Enable test mode (Optional): Fill this checkbox to enable test mode. When the data service is in test mode no direct calls will be made to the data service. It is best practice to check this box when you are iterating an enrichment process.
After selecting the entity and level(s), the right side of the screen will display additional options. Select attributes you would like to be returned by D&B Data Blocks. Expand options to select multiple attributes within a category.
Click Save to save your configurations. You will now see a new Data Service tile created on the main Data Services page in Openprise. The tile will display the total number of API calls made to D&B Data Blocks and the last call time.
