Create D&B Direct+ Data Service in Openprise
Navigate to Data -> Data Services.
Select Add Data Service
Give your Data Service a name, optional description, assign data service administrators, and labels. Select D&B Direct+ in the select Technology section. Click Add Account Information. Select a registered account, or add a new account using your D&B Direct+ credentials.
To add a new Account, follow the steps below:
- Consumer Key: type your D&B Direct+ consumer key
- Consumer Secret: type your D&B Direct+ consumer secret

Once authenticated, the Add Account Information button will display your username and appear green.
After authentication, you will need to select the entity. Options are Company, Contact, or IP Domain.
Next, select the subscription. Options vary depending on entity. Select the DUNS number hierarchy subscription for the Company entity. Select the Full Contact Profile subscription for the Contact entity. There is no subscription option for the IP Domain entity.
Select what the Data Service will be used for. Options include Enrichment or Acquisition.
You can also select the option for test mode during testing phases, which make no direct calls.
After selecting the entity, subscription, and Data Service usage, the right side of the screen will display additional options: Select the attributes you'd like to be returned by D&B Direct+.
Click Save to save your selections. You will now see a new Data Service tile created on the main Data Services screen in Openprise. API Calls will begin to populate when the Data Service is used in a job.
