OpenAI GPT Data Service

Purpose

In the OpenAI GPT Data Service, an LLM chat service and credentials are configured. The service is used by the AskAI task template. 

NOTE: You must have your own credentials to use this service.

Grounded models are available. A grounded model is the ability to connect model output to verifiable sources of information.
 

 

Create OpenAI GPT Data Service in Openprise

Navigate to Data -> Data Services.

Select Add Data Service.

Give your Data Service a name, optional description, assign data service administrators, and labels. Select OpenAI GPT in the select Technology section. Click Add Account Information. Select a registered account, or add a new account using your OpenAI GPT credentials.

To add a new Account, follow the steps below:

  1. Email: Enter the email address you would like to be associated with the authentication as an identifier. It does not have to be the email address associated with the API key itself.
  2. AI Model: Select an AI Model from the dropdown list. If a model supports web search capabilities, you will see “with Web Search” appended to the end of the model name. To learn more about OpenAI GPT’s web search capabilities, please visit their website or use the following link to learn more. The most recent model that we support from OpenAI GPT will appear as the default.
  3. API key: Enter your OpenAI GPT API key. You will need to create an OpenAI account and generate a key on their website. You can track billing from OpenAI’s billing page and usage metrics from their usage console. You will need to sign into your account to view the information at the links provided.
     

You will now see a new Data Service tile created on the main Data Services screen in Openprise.
