Getting started with MCP Factory

Prerequisites:

  1. Enable API Factory, click HERE to learn more
  2. Enable API Key Management, click HERE to learn more
  3. Enable MCP Factory
  4. Creation of MCP Factory keys: System Admins ONLY

Administration>System Settings>Features tab

Then, navigate to Automation and select MCP Factory

Select New key in upper right

Name & Details

  1. Name: Name the MCP Factory Key
  2. Owners: Set the key owner(s)
  3. Description: (optional) Add a description for the key for more details

Next, assign the key to specific or all Data Sources, Jobs, and Bots

  1. Search for a specific data source by typing in the search box
  2. Click Select all to select all data sources OR Clear to clear selections
  3. Check the box next to each data source you'd like to select

  1. Search for a specific bot by typing in the search box
  2. Click Select all to select all bots OR Clear to clear selections
  3. Check the box next to each bot you'd like to select

  1. Search for a specific job by typing in the search box
  2. Click Select all to select all jobs OR Clear to clear selections
  3. Check the box next to each job you'd like to select

Assign the API Key(s) by checking the box(s) next to the API key you'd like to use for this key. Click HERE to learn more about creating an API Key.

Connect to Claude or Chat GPT

Create a Connection to Claude or ChatGPT.
