Navigate to ChatGPT Desktop and select your profile in the bottom left corner and then select Settings
Select Security and login in the left panel
Then toggle Developer mode to ON
Next, select Plugins on the left panel
Then, click the plus symbol in the upper right to create a new plugin
In the new plugin window, enter the details below. Select Server URL before pasting the address. Authentication then switches to OAuth automatically.
Name: Openprise
Server URL: https://mcp.openprisecloud.com/mcp
Authentication: OAuth
Then, select Advanced OAuth settings
Set the OAuth Client ID to: openprise-mcp
Check the box for I understand and want to continue and then select Create.
Authorize with your API Key
Your browser opens the Openprise authorization page. Paste your Openprise API key (created using API Key Management), give it a label, choose your pod, then click Authorize.
Note: Safe to paste: your key is sent only over HTTPS and checked against your pod. It never lands in your chat transcript or your configuration file.
