For each Externally Linked Data Source, Data Target and Data Marketplace service, Openprise stores authentication credentials to access the data or service. By default, the user who created the data source, data target, or data service, is the only user associated with the authentication credentials.
To allow other Openprise users or Groups to share authentication credentials, they must be added by going to Administration >Security Settings
Then select the Credentials tab
Select the down arrow to the right of the credential you'd like to update
- Who can view: Select from the available groups on the left and click the Add or Add All button in the middle to add to the selected groups. (or remove if you'd like to remove a credential)
- Who can edit: Select the arrow in this section to add groups who can edit the credential
Make sure to click the Save icon in the upper right to save your selections
Select the Trash can icon to delete the authentication credentials.
Note: once authentication credentials are deleted, access to the Data Source, Data Target or Marketplace Data service is blocked and new authentication credentials must be established.
