Openprise can assist in enforcing GDPR controls to protect EU data, and avoid a GDPR breach. Navigate to the Administration tab located at the top of your menu bar and select the GDPR Controls tab.
Enable/Disable GDPR Features
The first three toggle switches enable/disable the GDPR controls, GDPR filters and GDPR audits.
Control Records & Outbound Objects
- Determine how Openprise should treat non-deterministic records
- Apply GDPR controls to outbound objects such as information supplied by third party vendors in Data Marketplace.
Data Targets
Determine how Openprises should enforce GDPR controls on all or select Data Targets.
Downloads
Enforce GDPR controls on manual downloads by filling in the below checkbox.
Determine Country Origin
We can configure GDPR controls for Country, Email/Domain and Phone number and use a reference table to validate for EU and non-EU data.
Country
- Select keyword(s) to identify the country attribute for each record.
- Determine keywords to exclude.
- Identify EU records by country using a reference table. Below is an example of how to configure the Reference - Countries - Multilingual table from Data Catalog.
Email/Domain
- Select keyword(s) to identify the email/domain attribute for each record.
- Determine keywords to exclude.
- Identify EU records by top level domains using a reference table. Below is an example of how to configure the Reference - Countries - Multilingual table from Data Catalog.
Phone Number
- Select keyword(s) to identify the phone attribute for each record.
- Determine keywords to exclude.
- Identify EU records by international calling code using a reference table. Below is an example of how to configure the Reference - Countries - Multilingual table from Data Catalog.
