There are five types of user roles in Openprise listed from least number of permissions to most:
- API Only User
- App User
- User
- Data Administrator
- System Administrator
API Only User
- Request API Key, Invoke API's
App User
- Do everything API Only users can do, plus:
- Have access to view apps in App Factory and execute whatever is granted in the app
User
- View Data Catalogs, view and create Downloads
- View, edit/ create Dashboards, My Account, Support & Quick Start
- View, edit/ create, purge/ delete Saved Searches
- View, edit/ create, purge/ delete, Analytics Reports, and add Analytics Reports to Dashboards
- Use Search
- Add Analytics Reports to Dashboard
Data Administrator
- Do everything User can do, plus:
- View Apps in App Factory, Search, Review De-dupe
- View, edit/create, purge/ delete and import Data Sources
- View, edit/create, purge/ delete Data Targets, Data Services, Data Catalogs, Downloads, Jobs/Tasks, Bots, Triggers/ Alerts, Users, Groups, Credentials, Labels,
- View, edit/create, purge/ delete and assign apps in App Factory
- Request API Key, Invoke APIs
- Assign Groups
- Schedule Triggers/ Alerts, Bots, and run Bots
System Administrator
- Do everything Data Administrators can do, plus:
- View, edit/ create, enable/ disable GDPR Controls
- View and execute GDPR Data Deletion
Note: User, Data Admin, and System Admin roles must be assigned as an administrator on an object to edit, create, purge, and delete. If they are not, they will have view only access.
