How do I add a new attribute to my List Load app?

When adding a new attribute to your template file for a list load process, follow the below procedure to have this attribute added to your process.

First, make sure that the Manual Data Source you're using in your List Load app has the option to "Include Extra Attributes" checked.

Second, navigate to your Template Data Source and select Configuration to include this new attribute.

Head to the Map tab and you will see the new attribute in green on the left side of the screen

Highlight it and select "Add" in the middle to include the new attribute to the data source

Scroll down to the Attribute Configuration Section

Locate your new attribute and select the correct data type

Then, head to the Propagate Attributes option in the top right corner

Select the downstream jobs to propagate the new attributes to:

Remember to click Update to Save your changes to the Data Source

Next, head over to your App by navigating to Apps and selecting Configuration

  1. Locate the new attribute in the exclude from app section and select it
  2. Select the Add button to add the new attribute to the app
  3. The new attribute will now show in the attributes included in app section
  4. Select Save to save your changes

Your List Load app will now include the new attributes!
