Occasionally, the credentials used by Openprise to export data to a target system don't work as expected. For example, a user may be able to update values directly in Salesforce, but that same user cannot update values using Openprise in Salesforce.
In Salesforce it is possible to set permissions for a user to update a record but not provide permission to create new records. In the example above, updating the record in Salesforce using Openprise is not possible because the Openprise user needs both update and create permissions for the object.
