Connecting to Monday Custom App

This article covers how to connect Openprise to Monday Custom App when setting up a data source or data target.
 

Prerequisites:

1. Create Monday App
2. Obtain Client Id and Client Secret

Create Monday App

• Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Developers
• This will open the Developer Center in a new tab, select Create App
• In the pop-up, create a new app by entering the App name and App slug
• Then select Create app in the bottom right
• This will take you back to the General Settings page for the app where you can see the Client Id and Client Secret information. Save this information for use in Openprise when setting up the connection.

Then, navigate to Build > OAuth and Permissions

Select the checkboxes for the following options:

•  me:read
• boards:read
• boards:write
• workspaces:read
• workspaces:write
• users:read
• account:read
• assets:read

Next, go to the Redirect URLs section

• Paste https://www.openprisecloud.com/daass/oauthclient/mondaycustom/callback in the redirect URL section and select Save scopes

Then, select Promote to Live in the upper left

When creating a new data source, select Monday Custom app from the source technology and data format picklist.

Next, select or add the connection to Monday Custom App

1. Select from an existing account if you've already linked your Monday account to Openprise
2. Select the Add Account Information button to link your Monday account to Openprise
   • Add client_id and client_secret (found under general settings in the custom app you created in Monday)

Next, select the entity/directory

Then, select the Workspace
