Connecting to Netsuite

This article covers how to connect Openprise to Netsuite when setting up a data source. You will need a Netsuite account and credentials for Openprise. You can learn more about Data Sources here.

Netsuite Setup

You will need to create a new integration in Netsuite prior to setting up your data source. Create a new integration by logging into you Netsuite account > Setup > Integrations > Manage Integrations > New

NOTE: Please save the client ID and client secret provided by Netsuite at the time a new integration is setup. This information is only displayed during integration; you will need this information when configuring your data source. 

In the Authentication section, fill the below checkboxes. Copy/paste the following URL in the callback URL box: 

https://www.openprisecloud.com/daass/oauthclient/netsuite/callback

You will need to give Openprise field-level permissions in Netsuite. You can learn more about field-level permission by reading Netsuite Help Center articles linked below:

When creating a new data source, select Netsuite from the source technology and data format picklist.

  1. Select the Add Account Information button to link your Netsuite account to Openprise
  2. Click on the Add Account button to sign into your Netsuite account using your credentials
  3. Select from an existing account if you've already linked your Netsuite account to Openprise

If you selected the Add Account button, you will need to include the client ID, client secret and account ID to authenticate the account.

The Client ID and the Client Secret will be displayed to you at the time you create a new integration between Openprise and Netsuite. 

NOTE: Client ID and Client Secret is only displayed at the time a new integration is set up in Netsuite. You will need to save this information prior to authenticating the data source. 

The Account ID can be found in the top search bar/ address bar when logging into your Netsuite account via web browser. The Account ID is a series of characters that appears before the ".app.netsuite.com" domain (e.g. XXXXXX.app.netsuite.com)

Directory or entity - Select the directory or entity you want to import as a new data source.
